The Ab Coaster comes in two different versions (the commercial and the home version) Obviously the commercial version is more expensive.
The Ab Coaster works very differently compared to most ab machines that you are used to. Instead of normal ab machines, who works the abdominals from the top-down, the Ab Coaster works the muscles from the bottom-up. This is especially useful for working on the abs that most crunches don’t exercise.
The way that it works is you kneel on the carriage and then you raise your knees up. It’s very simple to use. When you pull your knees up, the carriage moves along the track of the machine. The machine also does a solid job of stabilizing your core, by focusing solely on the abdominal region, without straining the neck or your lower back.
The Ab Coaster was designed for just about anybody to use, irregardless of size or age. With its adjustable seat you can focus on specific areas to tighten, such as the love handles. You can also add weights to the machine for a more strenuous workout.
It also comes with an exercise plan and DVD.

The Ab Coaster has a lot of positive things going for it. For starters, the most important thing is that it simply just works. It focuses on the abdominals and it works them hard. Just about everybody who has stuck to the workout regimen have seen very positive and quick results. They simply reach muscles that crunches will not reach.
This is also a very well made and sturdy machine. This is not some flimsy piece of junk that looks like it cost $3 to make. It can even support people that weigh up to 300 lbs.
There are only two negatives that the ab coaster has. One of which is the price. It can cost up to $400, which is certainly more expensive than the average ad machine on the market. But you can find some good deals on the Ab Coaster at eBay and Amazon.
The other downsize is the size. You will need to be able to find some room in your home for the machine. But unless you live in a studio apartment or in very close quarters, you should be able to find some room.
Bottom Line: It’s one of the best and most respected ab machines on the market. If you can afford the hefty price tag, it is definitely recommended.
