The Schwinn 430 Elliptical Machine provides a full cardio workout that is smooth and easy on the joints, which really makes it an excellent machine for those people that have had any hip or knee problems. It does a very good job of recreating the normal jogging stride.
It consists of 8 different resistance levels, 6 user profiles, 1 manual workout, and 1 calorie goal program. There is also a feedback program which consists of a recovery mode, results mode, and a body mass indicator. With all the tools at it’s arsenal, it makes it really easy for the user to keep track of his/her progress.
The BioFit design of this elliptical is very comfortable for the user all the way from the footpads to the handlebars. It measures 62″ X 27″ X 64″, which makes it a fairly compact elliptical machine.
The Schwinn 430 Elliptical Machine also uses a concave wheel design which makes the machine more sturdy and stable while in use.

I think one of the biggest advantages that the Schwinn 430 trainer has over most of the other home ellipticals is the incredibly sturdiness. It’s built as strongly as many of the gym-quality elliptical trainers, except it doesn’t cost a couple thousand dollars.
It is a bit heavy (at least for a home elliptical) as it weight over 150lbs, but with it’s attached wheels you shouldn’t have any problems moving it around.
The pedals are also very flexible as they bend to the angle of your motion, which severely reduce the risk of any injury during workouts.
If you are on the lookout for a new elliptical this is definitely one of the better deals around. With an average cost around $599.99, you are getting a gym-quality machine for a “home gym” price.
Bottom Line: Easy to use, comfortable, easy to set up, as sturdy as it gets, great price, etc…. What more could you ask for?
