The LifeFitness T3 treadmill is an introductory model from the lineup of the company’s more advanced models. With their high reputation of durability and quality, Lifefitness’ products are priced quite high.
However, the T3 treadmill offers you the same quality at a more accessible price. There are also other brands and models available in the market that can match the features of the Lifefitness T3 and cost much cheaper. However, they do not attain its high quality and technology, which is the defining identity of this treadmill.
The Lifefitness T3 treadmill features a T30 console 3.0 continuous duty HP motor. This motor does well for both running and jogging. For those rigorous exercisers, or when you have many users, the high-end models are the most appropriate. Its 58″ by 20″ tread belt handles both joggers and runners of all heights really well.
Only extremely tall people can opt for a 60″ long belt. The T3 also features a selection of different workout programs and a wireless heart rate control. This gadget can provide multiple readouts at the same time. The T3 has a ¾” thick deck, which is said to handle up to 400lbs of weight.
However, it would be advisable to buy the treadmill only if you are less than 300 lbs. it comes with an average 10-year motor warranty and a one-year service warranty. The parts warranty however is a bit generous at five years. The T3 retails at around $2,199 but with good negotiation skills, the price can be reduced for a couple hundred dollars at your sports equipment outlet.
The Lifefitness T3 however is not one of the quietist treadmills available, it can be rated a 7 on a scale of 10. Choosing to buy the T3 is like settling for the cheapest model of a Mercedes Benz. You get some premium quality although not on the high end at a reasonable price.
The T3 comes in two versions, a basic model that gives you very basic electronics such as 5 pre programmed workouts and the advanced model that gives you 10 programmed workouts, 2 custom programs and 2 user profiles. This also includes the heart rate control.
Bottom Line: Definitely pricey, but a good commercial grade treadmill.
