You can find a lot of weightlifting workout plans on the Internet, but you can’t trust all of them to tell you all of the information. Sometimes they do not provide the information because they want you to pay for it, or they do not know it.

Here are some excellent tips that I find to work the best in weightlifting.

Sometimes you will find instructions to only work one muscle at a time, but I find that it is best to concentrate on two or more muscles at a time.

When you focus on more muscles at a time, they are stimulated to grow more due to more fibers being used at the same time. This will also increase the amount of fat that you will burn during the set.

Some of the exercises you should focus on are pulldown and shoulder press, chest press and leg press. When you are developing your exercise plan, don’t focus on maximizing the amount of weight that you can use. Focus instead on constant motion, instead of generating a lot of force to create the momentum to move the weights.

Keep in mind that your goal should be to exercise the muscles by more repetitions instead of more weight. Focus on controlling your workouts with constant, even paced speed. Try to use more time returning the weights to the starting position than the time used to get the weight to the sets objective.

An example might be 3 seconds getting to the objective position and 5 seconds in the recovery position. The last point to remember is that when your muscles are sore or tired, you should give them a rest.

When you first start out, your muscles will be sore and tired a lot, but don’t worry, it will improve over time. Keep in mind that working the muscles stimulate them to grow but they only grow when you are resting.

If you haven’t begun, I strongly urge you to get yourself a home gym.  One of the best on the market is BodyCraft Xpress.
