Versa Bell Dumbbell sets were created by Stamina. They are also known as “selectorized dumbbells”. For those that haven’t heard of these kind of dumbbells, they are dumbbells that essentially allow you to change the weight just by simply turning the knob. This allows you to have more space in your workout room instead of having to store a full dumbbell set.
The Versa Bells are very user-friendly. There is absolutely no assembly required. It’s a very good looking dumbbell that is very pleasing to the eye.
You can tell that Stamina really took its time making sure they created a very high-quality product. The 5 lb. handlebars are made of chrome and are fitted with a grip that is slip-resistant. The handlebars also have plenty of room for your hands so they don’t rub on the plates when you are lifting.
The steel plates have an attractive round design, which give it a similar feel to traditional, standard dumbbells. There is a heavy-duty nylon weight tray that comes with the set, which houses the dumbbell, when you are not using it.

Changing the weights is really simple. The Versa-Bell uses a very simple pin system. All you have to do is turn the dials which are on the side of each dumbbell to raise or lower the weight. There is a magnified window that lets you know how much weight you are lifting.
The increments on the weights are set at 2.5 lbs. So whenever you increase the weight by an increment, one side of the dumbbell increases by 2.5 lbs.
The Vera Dumbbell set is a very good product, especially if you want to add a little more space in your home gym. You are essentially replacing the space of 18 separate dumbbells. The dumbbell sets are available in both 12.5 and 50 lb versions. If you want a rack, that will have to be purchased separately.
Bottom Line: A very high-quality dumbbell set that’s also a very good bargain.
